  We spent $48,000 getting the Signature Custom Cabinetry from Bilotta (Mount Kisco brach). Among several defects, one glaring defect was that the end panels on both ends of the island were mismatched. As a result, we postponed our move-in date and rescheduled everything so that could be fixed. Then upon being told that the defect was fixed, I arrived with the granite people and the plumber. After the granite was put on, I noticed that one of the end panels were still mismatched. Because no one from Bilotta contacted me as to what to do, I had about 8 contractors just standing there waiting for me to figure out what to do. How incompetent must you be to make the same mistake twice and then not even notify the customer that the defect still existed? Even after a month, Bilotta (and Signature) still failed to remedy the defect. Other issues included missing knobs, stains on the cabinets (which Ms. Bilotta tried to remove with her saliva), a shim that was sticking out, a damaged silverware tray, etc.... So if you want a competent, communicative, customer oriented kitchen designer, I would recommend going elsewhere.
